Our Charitable Purpose
The Friends of the Lake Ontario National Marine Sanctuary is a 501(c)3 organization formed to support the development and operation of the Lake Ontario National Marine Sanctuary (LONMS). The LONMS was established in 2024 by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
Our Board
The Friends of the LONMS was formed on February 10, 2026.
The organization's initial board of directors is:
